Those are the words of an email I received from Delta...and also the words I think God wanted me to hear. The last few days have been incredibly full of family and friends, and conflicting emotions of sadness over being separated from everyone for so long, but excitement about all that is to come. I've cried, laughed, smiled, and in the end, whenever my heart starts to get fearful about all the unknowns, I think, God really wants me to check in with him. That's the most important thing I can do before I even get to the airport this morning...is check in with my Heavenly Father, trusting and relying on His care and provision.
Prayers would be much appreciated as I begin this long journey.
